Angela Christine Watson is an American model and actress. She was best known for her role as Karen Foster, the daughter of Carol Foster Lambert's character Suzanne Somers in the American sitcom Step by Step. Angela Watson, a National Board Certified Teachers with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction is an skilled teacher. She is a National Board certified teacher with over 11 years of working in the classroom. Angela began this site in 2003, when she was still teaching. Her goal was to inspire educators with practical ideas for the classroom and build their positive mindset. It was originally called Ms. Powell's Ideas for Management Ideas for Teachers. In 2008, it changed its designation to The Cornerstone for Teachers in honor of her first book. Angela Powell's work on productivity and professional development is now being used at more than 45,000 schools across the United States through her 40 Hour Workweek initiative. The program was originally designed for teachers but then expanded to include administrators, instructional coaches and other teachers. 40 Hour helps teachers become more mindful of their personal schedule and time for instruction so that they are focused on the things that really matter.
